Ingredients

  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup blanched almond flour
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • ½ teaspoon celtic sea salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup agave nectar or honey
  • ½ cup grapeseed oil or palm shortening
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Pulse ½ cup of chocolate chips in a food processor until coarsely ground.
  2. Add almond flour, cacao powder, and salt to the processor and blend until combined.
  3. Add eggs and pulse again, then incorporate agave, grapeseed oil, and orange zest.
  4. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  5. Stir in the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips with a spoon or spatula.
  6. Transfer the batter into a well-oiled 8-inch springform pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
