Ingredients

The turkey

  • 3 pounds bone-in or boneless turkey breast
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon Chicken Flavor

The gravy

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. Remove any gravy packet from the turkey breast if applicable.
  2. Rub the turkey with olive oil and season with poultry seasoning, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add chicken broth, garlic, and Better Than Bouillon to the Instant Pot.
  4. Place the trivet inside the Instant Pot, then add the turkey and onion.
  5. Seal the pot and cook on High Pressure for 30 minutes.
  6. Allow the steam to release naturally for 15 minutes and check the turkey's internal temperature.
  7. Remove the turkey and let it rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
  8. For the gravy, leave the drippings in the pot, turn on the sauté function, add butter and flour, and whisk until thick.
