Instructions
- Debone the chicken thighs, keeping the skin on.
- Mix all the Char Siu sauce ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
- Add the minced garlic and chicken to the sauce, stirring to coat thoroughly.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the chicken on a lined baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes until the skin is charred.
- Slice the chicken into pieces, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve with steamed rice, using the drippings.
