Easy Cheesy Weeknight Pasta Bake

shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, salt, and pepper until the meat is browned, then drain the grease.
- Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, brown sugar, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and additional salt and pepper to the skillet, and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Layer half of the pasta mixture in the baking dish, spread the ricotta mixture on top, add half of the mozzarella, then the remaining pasta, and top with the rest of the mozzarella.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbling, then let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
