Instructions
- Steam the tempeh for 20 minutes.
- Whisk together the marinade ingredients in a large container.
- Slice the steamed tempeh into thin strips.
- Marinate the tempeh slices for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 475ºF and prepare a baking sheet with foil and oil.
- Arrange the marinated tempeh on the baking sheet and roast for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve the roasted tempeh in pita bread with your favorite toppings.
