Instructions
- Prepare all vegetables and ingredients.
- Turn on the Sauté setting of the Instant Pot and brown the ground beef or turkey.
- Add onions (and olive oil if using turkey) and sauté until translucent.
- Add bay leaves and garlic, sauté for an additional minute.
- Stir in paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, cabbage, broth, balsamic vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce, then heat for a few minutes.
- Add the rice and stir well.
- Layer the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and sugar on top without stirring.
- Seal the lid and set the steam release knob to Sealing.
- Cancel the Sauté function and select Pressure Cook/Manual for 4 minutes.
- After cooking, let the pot sit for 5 minutes for natural release, then perform a controlled Quick Release.
- Once the pin drops, open the lid and stir the contents.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve.
