Strawberry Mascarpone Tart

Tart Garnish

fresh basil, chiffonade

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a food processor, combine oats, butter, and honey/sugar, pulsing while adding ice water until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into an ungreased 12-inch tart pan or two 6-inch pans and bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy and browned.
- Allow the crust to cool.
- Mix sliced strawberries with balsamic vinegar and sugar in a bowl.
- Whip the half and half until fluffy, then gradually add mascarpone until smooth.
- Mix in vanilla and honey/sugar until incorporated.
- Fill the cooled tart shell with ¾ of the strawberry filling, top with the mascarpone whip, and garnish with remaining strawberries, basil, and mint.
- Slice and serve.
