Ingredients

The tart dough

  • 1 recipe Basic Tart Dough

The filling

  • 3 cups mascarpone
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 units eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch

The topping

  • 4 ½ cups fresh blackberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tart dough.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Roll out the dough and fit it into a tart pan, trimming excess dough.
  4. Prick the bottom of the shell with a fork, line with buttered foil, and fill with dried beans.
  5. Bake the shell for 10 minutes and let it cool slightly.
  6. In a bowl, mix mascarpone, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cornstarch until smooth.
  7. Pour the mascarpone mixture into the tart shell and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
  8. Allow the tart to cool and decorate with blackberries before refrigerating.
