Instructions
- Preheat the oven and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the fruit filling by mixing sliced fruit, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt in a bowl.
- Make the streusel by combining sugars, melted butter, flour, salt, and walnuts in a medium bowl until clumpy.
- Roll out the pie crust and cut it into 6 rounds, then place them on the baking sheet.
- Spoon the fruit mixture onto the center of each round, fold the dough over the filling, and top with streusel.
- Chill the assembled galettes in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
- Brush the tops with egg wash and bake for 20 to 22 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
