Apple Cranberry Pie

Instructions
- Prepare the pie crust a day in advance to allow it to rest.
- In a bowl, mix together the sliced apples, cranberries, brown sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Roll out the first pie crust to a 13-inch circle and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
- Roll out the second pie crust and create a topping of your choice.
- Chill the pie in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up the crust.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and brush the top of the pie with egg wash.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
