Apple Cranberry Pie

Instructions
- Prepare the pie crust according to your recipe up to step 5.
- In a large bowl, mix the apples, cranberries, sugar, cornstarch, orange zest, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
- Roll out one disc of chilled pie dough and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
- Fill the crust with the apple-cranberry mixture and dot with butter.
- Roll out the second disc of dough, cut into strips, and create a lattice top over the filling.
- Brush the top crust with egg wash.
- Bake the pie for 20 minutes at 400°F, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (177°C) and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes.
- Cool the pie for 3 hours before serving.
