The batter

Instructions
- Combine the dry ingredients for the batter in a bowl.
- Add the wet ingredients to the bowl and stir until just combined.
- Chill the batter for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pot to 350 degrees F.
- Insert sticks into the hot dogs and pat them dry.
- Pour the batter into a tall glass and dip each hot dog until fully coated.
- Fry the coated hot dogs for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve.
