Slow Cooker Rotisserie Chicken

The chicken

chicken (about 4–5 lbs.)
The seasoning

smoked paprika

freshly-ground black pepper

garlic powder

onion powder
Optional

aluminum foil or thickly-sliced onions or vegetables
Instructions
- Rinse the chicken thoroughly and pat it dry.
- Whisk together the paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl and rub the mixture all over the chicken.
- Place aluminum foil balls or sliced onions/vegetables in the bottom of the slow cooker to create a rack.
- Put the chicken on top of the rack and cover.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
- Carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker and serve as desired.
