Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Prepare the garlic by removing loose outer layers and cutting the top off to expose the cloves, then drizzle with olive oil and wrap in foil.
- Bake the wrapped garlic for about 28-30 minutes until nearly roasted, then set aside to cool.
- Increase the oven temperature to 450°F and place a pizza stone in the center.
- On a dusted sheet of parchment paper, shape the pizza dough into a 12½-inch circle.
- Brush the top of the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with pepper and salt.
- Layer the sliced pears, mozzarella, goat cheese, cooked sausage, and roasted garlic over the dough.
- Transfer the pizza to the hot pizza stone and bake for 11-14 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with basil ribbons before slicing and serving warm.
