Apple, Goat Cheese and Walnut Pizza

Ingredients

Dough

  • ¼ recipe Whole wheat pizza crust

Toppings

  • ½ tsp olive oil
  • to taste freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 Red Delicious apple, in very thin slices
  • 100 g low fat Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 15 g walnut, chopped
  • 25 g goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh fennel leaves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500°F.
  2. Roll or stretch the dough into a 10-12 inch disc and place it on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread olive oil over the dough and grate nutmeg to your liking.
  4. Top with mozzarella cheese, followed by apple slices, then sprinkle with goat cheese and walnuts.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh rosemary and fennel.
