Goat Cheese Pizza with Caramelized Onions and Apples

Ingredients

The pizza base

  • 1 gluten free pizza crust gluten free pizza crust mix

The toppings

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large apple
  • 4 ounces herbed goat cheese
  • 3 sprigs thyme
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons vegan butter spread

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat, add sliced onions, and cook for 15 minutes until soft, stirring occasionally.
  3. In another pan, heat the remaining butter over medium-high heat, add apple slices, and cook for 10 minutes until soft.
  4. Spread goat cheese over the pizza crust, then layer with cooked apples and onions.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the goat cheese is slightly melted.
  6. Sprinkle thyme leaves on top, drizzle with honey, and serve.
