Matcha Green Tea Smoothie

banana (frozen is nice, but fresh works too)

fresh pineapple, cut into chunks

kale or baby spinach

matcha powder, plus more to taste

nut milk or soy milk

squeeze
of lemon

handful
of ice cubes (or use frozen bananas)
Instructions
- Cut the pineapple and banana into chunks and gather the smoothie ingredients.
- Place all the smoothie ingredients in the blender, starting conservatively with the matcha powder.
- Blend until very smooth.
- Taste and add more matcha powder if desired. If the flavor is bitter, add a little honey or maple syrup.
- Blend in a few ice cubes to make the smoothie extra cold and thick.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!
