Ingredients

The smoothie

  • 2 pieces peeled, sliced and frozen ripe bananas
  • ¼ cup chopped ripe pineapple (optional)
  • ¾ - 1 cup light coconut milk
  • 2 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1 heaping cup organic spinach or kale

Toppings (optional)

  • to taste fresh berries
  • to taste coconut flake
  • to taste banana slices
  • to taste chia seeds
  • to taste slivered roasted almonds

Instructions

  1. Blend frozen banana slices, optional pineapple, the lesser amount of coconut milk, matcha powder, and spinach until creamy and smooth.
  2. Adjust the thickness by adding more coconut milk if needed.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness or matcha flavor as desired.
  4. Divide the smoothie between two bowls and add desired toppings.
