Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates (pitted)
  • 3 Tbsp all-natural salted peanut or almond butter
  • ¼ cup dairy-free dark chocolate (roughly chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds (or sub flax or hemp seeds)
  • cup rolled oats (gluten-free as needed)

Instructions

  1. Pulse pitted dates in a food processor or blender until they are in small pieces or form a ball.
  2. Add oats, chocolate, chia seeds, and peanut butter, then pulse or mix until combined.
  3. Carefully roll the mixture into 1-inch balls using the warmth of your hands.
  4. Place the rolled balls in the fridge or freezer for 15 minutes to set.
  5. Store in an air-tight bag or container for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
