Ingredients

  • 4 pounds italian plums
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • teaspoon stevia

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the plums, then slice in half and remove the pits.
  2. Place the water and plums in a large pot, cover, and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once the mixture becomes liquidy, remove the lid.
  4. Simmer and stir frequently until the desired thickness is achieved, which may take 30 to 90 minutes.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice and stevia.
  6. Cool the jam, then transfer it to a clean one-cup mason jar.
  7. Store in the fridge for up to 10 days.
