Ingredients

  • 8 oz fresh cranberries
  • 20 oz can pineapple in pineapple juice
  • cup sugar or agave

Instructions

  1. Drain the liquid from the pineapples and add water to make a total of 1 cup of liquid.
  2. Combine the liquid with sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  3. Chop the cranberries finely in a food processor and add them to the pan, stirring well.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens (about 10 minutes).
  5. Chop the crushed pineapples in a food processor and add them to the cranberry sauce, cooking for one more minute.
  6. Allow the sauce to cool, then refrigerate in a covered container overnight.
