Easy Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • ¾ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, finely grated

Instructions

  1. Wash the cranberries and discard any soft ones.
  2. Combine the cranberries, maple syrup, orange juice, cinnamon, and ginger in a saucepan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Cook while stirring often until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, but do not exceed 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a storage container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.
