Easy Cranberry Sauce

fresh ginger, finely grated
Instructions
- Wash the cranberries and discard any soft ones.
- Combine the cranberries, maple syrup, orange juice, cinnamon, and ginger in a saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Cook while stirring often until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, but do not exceed 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a storage container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.
