  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, maple syrup, water, orange zest, and salt in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat, stirring often to prevent burning.
  3. Once cranberries begin to burst, reduce heat to low.
  4. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until the juices thicken.
  5. Remove from heat and serve warm or at room temperature.
