Ingredients

  • 4 cups cranberries, frozen or fresh

  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 stick cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add cranberries, maple syrup, orange zest, orange juice, vanilla extract, and cinnamon stick.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and cook until cranberries burst and break down, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Taste the sauce and add more syrup if it's too tart.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool.
