Ingredients

  • 2 cups blanched almond flour
  • ¼ cup tapioca starch
  • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and prepare a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. In a bowl, combine almond flour, tapioca starch, and salt, whisking well.
  3. Add melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and water, mixing until the dough is uniform.
  4. Shape the dough into a ball and place it between two pieces of parchment paper.
  5. Roll out the dough into a circle about 11 to 12 inches in diameter.
  6. Remove the top parchment paper and flip the crust into the pie plate using the bottom parchment.
  7. Press any broken edges together and smooth the crust.
  8. Bake the crust for 18 to 20 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. Let the crust cool before adding your desired filling.
