Instructions
- Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl.
- Add melted butter and egg, and mix until combined.
- Shape the dough into a ball, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
- Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to ¼ inch thick.
- Transfer the dough to the pie dish, pressing to fix any tears, and poke holes in the base.
- Cover the edges with foil and blind bake for 10-12 minutes until firm.
- Let the crust cool completely before using or add filling and bake together.
