Ingredients

The chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs
  • to taste salt
  • to taste ground black pepper

The cooking fats

  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

The flavorings

  • 6 cloves garlic
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ tablespoon chopped parsley leaves

Instructions

  1. 1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Heat a skillet and grease it with olive oil.
  3. 3. Pan-fry the chicken on both sides until browned but not fully cooked, then set aside.
  4. 4. Add butter to the skillet and sauté the garlic.
  5. 5. Return the chicken to the skillet along with accumulated juices, chicken broth, wine, lemon juice, and salt.
  6. 6. Lower the heat, cover the skillet, and cook for about 10 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway.
  7. 7. Top with chopped parsley, turn off the heat, and serve.
