Ingredients

The base

  • ½ cup uncooked red quinoa
  • cups Almond Milk
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • ½-1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ tbsp pure maple syrup

Toppings

  • 1 tbsp pistachios, shelled
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans
  • 1 piece Fruit & Nut Energy Bite
  • ½ tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • to taste mandarin slices

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot, combine the quinoa, almond milk, and salt.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Stir in the vanilla, cinnamon, and maple syrup a couple of minutes before it's done.
  4. Adjust the flavors to taste, then pour into a bowl.
  5. Add your desired toppings and enjoy.
