Chocolate Protein Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 whole ripe banana (peeled and frozen)
  • 2 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • ¼ cup gluten-free oats
  • 2 Tbsp natural salted peanut butter (or other nut/seed butter)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 – 2 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 ½ – 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 – 2 whole pitted dates or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high until creamy and smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust flavor by adding more cacao powder, nut butter, almond milk, or sweetener as desired.
  4. Enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
