Ingredients

The Shake

  • 1 large ripe banana (previously peeled, sliced and frozen)
  • 2 Tbsp salted natural peanut butter
  • 1-2 pitted dates
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 to 1 ½ cups Almond Breeze Almondmilk Original Unsweetened
  • ½ cup ice (optional)

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 Tbsp cacao nibs
  • 1 Tbsp flax or hemp seeds
  • Dairy-free chocolate sauce
  • Coconut whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except almond milk in a blender.
  2. Add almond milk gradually, starting with ½ cup, to blend the ingredients.
  3. Adjust sweetness and flavors by adding more banana, dates, cacao, or peanut butter as needed.
  4. For a thicker shake, add ice and blend again.
