Instructions
- Melt the butter with minced garlic until it softens.
- Add cream cheese and whisk until melted.
- Gradually add ¼ cup of heavy cream, stirring until hot.
- Add ¼ of the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
- Continue alternating adding heavy cream and Parmesan until fully incorporated.
- Beat the egg yolk and add it to the sauce while whisking.
- Lower the heat and whisk until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
- Adjust seasonings as needed.
