Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cream the butter and sugar together in a stand mixer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add Karo® Corn Syrup, egg, and vanilla, mixing on low until combined.
- Add salt, corn starch, cocoa powder, and flour, mixing until just incorporated.
- Fold in chocolate chips and pecans with a wooden spoon or spatula.
- Form dough balls about 1-2 tablespoons in size and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes at 350°F.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
