romaine lettuce or iceberg lettuce, chopped

tortilla chips, slightly crumbled

Shredded Mexican cheese blend

diced (or 1½ cups grape tomatoes)

diced (optional)

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Crumble in the beef and let it sear until browned, about 3 minutes, then break it up and cook until fully cooked.
- Drain the fat from the beef, then stir in salsa, chili powder, and cumin. Season with salt and pepper, and heat through for about 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in cilantro.
- Layer lettuce on individual plates and top with chips, beef mixture, cheese, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, and red onion if using. Serve immediately.
