Paleo Pizza Crust

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups tapioca flour
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp grassfed butter (or coconut oil for dairy-free), melted and cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk until evenly combined.
  3. Create a small hole in the dry mixture and add the whisked eggs, water, and melted butter.
  4. Mix the ingredients together using a spoon or your hands to form a dough ball.
  5. Coat the dough ball with a little extra tapioca flour and place it on the baking sheet.
  6. Spread the dough into a circular shape, about 3/8 inch thick, using your hands.
  7. Bake the crust in the oven at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove the crust from the oven and top with your favorite toppings.
  9. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the toppings are heated and crisp.
  10. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
