Bacon Asparagus Pasta
Ingredients

uncooked pasta (linguine)
The bacon

uncooked bacon, diced
The vegetables

fresh asparagus, ends trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
The sauce

cup
dry white wine

grated or flaked Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- 1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente according to package instructions.
- 2. In a sauté pan, cook the diced bacon over medium-high heat until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- 3. In the same pan, sauté the asparagus in the bacon grease for about 5-6 minutes until cooked but still firm.
- 4. Add the white wine to the pan and deglaze by scraping the bottom to incorporate the browned bits, cooking until reduced by half.
- 5. Drain the pasta and add it to the pan along with the cooked bacon, asparagus, and ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese, tossing to combine.
- 6. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top and serve immediately.
