Pasta with Bacon and Peas

Instructions
- 1. Boil water in a pot for the pasta and cook the pasta until tender, reserving ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- 2. In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- 3. Sauté the diced onion in the remaining bacon grease until tender.
- 4. Add the frozen peas and reserved pasta water to the skillet, cooking until the peas are heated through.
- 5. Combine the drained pasta with the mixture in the skillet, then add Parmesan, salt, pepper, and crumbled bacon.
- 6. Stir everything together and adjust seasoning to taste.
