Peanut Butter Cup Popcorn

peanut butter chips

semi-sweet chocolate chips

vegetable shortening or oil
Instructions
- Combine the popped popcorn and peanuts in a large bowl.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the peanut butter chips and shortening for 2-2 ½ minutes until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Drizzle the melted peanut butter mixture over the popcorn and peanuts, and toss to combine.
- Spread the coated popcorn onto a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a Ziploc bag for about 1-1 ½ minutes, mashing the bag every 20-30 seconds.
- Cut a small corner of the Ziploc bag and drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn.
- Allow the popcorn to set until solid, using the fridge or freezer to speed up the process if desired.
- Break the popcorn into small pieces and enjoy.
