  • 1 large candy cane
  • 1 cup milk
  • cup strong coffee or espresso
  • 3 tablespoons chopped white chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar

Optional Toppings

  • to taste whipped cream
  • to taste crushed candy cane

Instructions

  1. Crush the candy cane into small pieces using a rolling pin or meat mallet.
  2. Heat the milk and crushed candy cane in a small pot until the milk begins to steam.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the white chocolate until melted.
  4. Add the strong coffee or espresso to a mug.
  5. Whisk the milk mixture until frothy and pour it over the coffee.
  6. Add sugar to taste and top with whipped cream and crushed candy cane if desired.
