Ingredients

  • 3 cans bell peppers

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the broiler to high.
  2. 2. Wash the peppers by rinsing them under water.
  3. 3. Seed and slice the peppers, then place them on a baking sheet.
  4. 4. Broil the peppers for 8-10 minutes until at least 50% of the skin is blackened.
  5. 5. Remove from the oven and place in a brown paper bag to steam for at least 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Once cool enough to handle, peel off as much of the skin as you can and discard it.
  7. 7. Freeze the roasted bell pepper slices on a baking sheet, then transfer to a ziplock bag or freezer-proof container.
