Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
- Add cream cheese and butter, mixing until coarse crumbs form.
- Make a well in the center and pour in buttermilk, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in blueberries without smashing them.
- Pat the dough into a circle about 1 ½ inches thick.
- Use a biscuit cutter to cut out rounds and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bring the extra dough together and cut more biscuits until all dough is used.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
- For the vanilla butter, mix butter, vanilla bean paste, and salt until combined.
- Serve the butter on warm biscuits.
