Ingredients

The salmon

  • 4 filets Salmon

The teriyaki sauce

  • 3 tablespoon Tamari Soy Sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 3 tablespoon Allulose Monk Fruit Sweetener
  • 2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste (or 1 teaspoon each fresh minced ginger and garlic)
  • 2 teaspoon Dry Sherry (or Rice vinegar)

Garnish

  • 1 medium scallion, sliced on the bias
  • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Let the salmon sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before cooking.
  2. Combine all teriyaki sauce ingredients in a bowl and stir until the sweetener dissolves.
  3. Brush the salmon with the marinade and let it absorb the flavor for several minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium (about 400°F) and clean the grates, oiling them as well.
  5. Grill the salmon for approximately 3-5 minutes per side until it flakes easily.
  6. Alternatively, preheat the oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with foil.
  7. Bake the salmon for 8-12 minutes, depending on thickness, until it flakes easily.
  8. Garnish with sliced scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
