Instructions
- Let the salmon sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before cooking.
- Combine all teriyaki sauce ingredients in a bowl and stir until the sweetener dissolves.
- Brush the salmon with the marinade and let it absorb the flavor for several minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium (about 400°F) and clean the grates, oiling them as well.
- Grill the salmon for approximately 3-5 minutes per side until it flakes easily.
- Alternatively, preheat the oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with foil.
- Bake the salmon for 8-12 minutes, depending on thickness, until it flakes easily.
- Garnish with sliced scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
