Instructions
- Pat the salmon filets dry with a paper towel.
- Prepare the teriyaki sauce by whisking together soy sauce, maple syrup, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sriracha.
- Marinate the salmon in half of the teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to high broil and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the baking sheet.
- Broil the salmon for about 8 minutes, checking after 6 minutes.
- While the salmon is cooking, thicken the remaining teriyaki sauce by boiling it and adding a cornstarch slurry.
- Once the salmon is cooked and flaky, let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve the salmon with rice and drizzle with the thickened teriyaki sauce.
