The teriyaki sauce

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, 6 Tbsp of water, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice, then bring to a light boil.
- Mix cornstarch with the remaining 2 Tbsp of water and add to the saucepan, letting it boil for 1 minute while whisking constantly.
- Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Place salmon in the baking dish and pour the teriyaki sauce evenly over the salmon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
- Serve warm topped with teriyaki sauce and optional garnishes of green onions and sesame seeds.
