Salmon Teriyaki

For the teriyaki sauce

soy sauce

Instructions
- Make the teriyaki sauce by combining soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, honey, and sesame oil in a pot over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water until dissolved, then add it to the sauce and boil until thickened.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over high heat and season the salmon with salt and pepper.
- Sear the salmon skin side up for about 5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes until cooked through.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the salmon, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
