Ingredients

The oats

  • cups rolled oats
  • cups coconut milk or other milk

The flavorings

  • 3 medium Medjool dates (or 2 large dates, pits removed)
  • ½ cup dehydrated apples
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • tsp ginger
  • tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the coconut milk and oats.
  2. Place the dates and apples in a food processor and finely chop them.
  3. Stir the dates and apples into the oats, and add the cinnamon, ginger, and salt.
  4. Divide the mixture evenly into two pint-sized mason jars. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In the morning, serve the oats cold or warm them up on the stove.
