Instructions
- Slice the tomatoes to about ΒΌ-inch thick and arrange them on paper towels.
- Sprinkle the tomatoes with salt on both sides and let them sit for 5 to 7 minutes to drain.
- Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the slices of bread.
- Layer the salted tomatoes on one slice of bread and add freshly ground pepper.
- Top with another slice of bread, cut in half, and repeat with the remaining ingredients.
