Instructions
- Combine the cream, milk, sugar, and coffee in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil.
- Beat the egg yolks in a bowl and whisk in 1 cup of the hot cream mixture.
- Gradually add the egg mixture to the hot cream, cooking over medium-low heat until thickened.
- Strain the mixture into a clean container, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream machine and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze until ready to serve.
- Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
