The batter

plain flour

sunflower oil
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 230°C (fan 210°C or gas mark 8).
Drizzle sunflower oil into Yorkshire pudding tins and place them in the oven to heat.
In a bowl, mix the plain flour and eggs until smooth.
Gradually add milk while continuing to beat until the batter is lump-free. Season with salt and pepper.
Carefully pour the batter into the hot tins.
Return the tins to the oven and bake undisturbed for 20-25 minutes until puffed and browned.
Serve immediately or cool and freeze for later use.
