Instructions
- Peel and shred the apple, then squeeze out excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, garlic, parsley, sage, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, and mix well.
- Add the shredded apple to the mixture and stir to combine.
- Incorporate the ground chicken into the mixture using hands or a fork until well mixed.
- Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Divide the mixture into eight balls and flatten them into patties about ½ inch thick.
- Heat olive oil in a griddle pan over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until fully cooked.
