Ingredients

For the honey ginger mocktail

  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup peeled & sliced ginger root
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh rosemary
  • 1 oz honey ginger simple syrup
  • 2 oz Ritual Zero Proof Gin Alternative
  • to taste sparkling water

For the blood orange salad

  • ¼ cup packed fresh basil
  • ¼ cup packed fresh dill
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground pepper
  • 2 balls fresh Burrata cheese
  • ½ cup chopped pistachios
  • 2 blood oranges, segmented
  • toasted bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the honey ginger simple syrup by combining honey, sugar, chopped ginger, and water in a pot, bringing to a boil, then simmering for 5 minutes before straining.
  2. Make the rosemary sugar rim by mixing rosemary and sugar on a plate.
  3. Prepare the herb sauce by combining fresh basil, dill, olive oil, parmesan, salt, and pepper using a mortar and pestle.
  4. Arrange orange segments and chopped pistachios on a platter, breaking burrata over them.
  5. Drizzle the herb sauce over the salad and serve with toasted bread.
